Dr. Robert A. (Bob) Friedenberg has been CEO of Xeelee Group LLC, a consultancy to help companies get practical value out of enabling information management technology, since 2002. His experience spans products and services including online content/ big data/ analytics, cyber-security/ critical infrastructure protection, and agile software development.

Prior to Xeelee Group, Dr. Friedenberg was CEO of Converged Security Solutions (a company he founded comprised of two simultaneous acquisitions) serving federal, state & local, and commercial markets, SVP and CTO of Salient Federal Solutions as well as GM of Salient Commercial Solutions' Agile, cyber-security, and mobility products and services; EVP of Integration and CIO of Secure Mission Solutions, a security services firm serving DoD and intelligence markets; President of Equient, a commercial publishing solutions development unit of Veridian Corporation; and General Manager of Thomson Technology Consulting Group.

Dr. Friedenberg has also held a variety of executive positions within systems integrators, software companies, and management consultancies including Coopers & Lybrand and Inference Corporation where he worked with Fortune 500 companies in the financial services, telecom, manufacturing, and retail industries.

He has also held software and product development and product management roles for leading edge information products at banks and brokerage institutions, including retail financial planning, derivatives money management, and mortgage back settlement at Citibank, NA and Shearson American Express.

Dr. Friedenberg has a Ph.D. in Nuclear Physics from Case Western Reserve University, an M.B.A. in Corporate Strategy & Planning from New York University, aseveral Agile software development certifications, and holds a top secret security clearance.
